We had a building site which had several constraints. After having difficulties with project builders, we saw a magazine article about Daniel and Adan Creative Design who had done designs for difficult blocks in the mountains. We approached Daniel who was happy to take on the job. Daniel was upfront about the work, costs and timeframes.
He listened and understood our needs and pretty much hit the nail on the head with his first draft. He then saw it right through the council approval process, taking the initiative to follow them up at the appropriate times and keep us informed. There were a few ‘bumps’ along the way in terms of getting council approval and Daniel dealt with them admirably, bringing in the right experts as needed to professionally and promptly deal with the issues. He took responsibility and didn’t try to simply push the issues back to us (as we have had others do!). We were certainly glad we had him handling it. We are now very happy with the outcome and feel he offers good value for money.

When my wife and I decided to build our dream house Daniel showed so much interest in understanding what we were trying to achieve, and really invested his time and effort to meet our expectations.

Starting with an older established house situated in the lower blue mountains with the aim to create a contemporary modern design was never going to be easy. Do we knock it down and start over or work with what is good and re imagine how things could look.
After doing our research and reviewing some of Dan’s completed projects, Liz and I chose to renovate. As for council approvals, unexpectedly this was quite straight forward thanks to Dan.
Did we make the right decision to renovate? An interesting debate with the builder but my view is absolutely YES. Dan was able to overlay our new design and do so very accurately so the sub floor, exterior walls and major features of the site were retained and/or improved.
A project like this was not going to be straight forward and Dan was always there to guide and advise us through the process. Dan is very easy to communicate with and for me being very time poor this was extremely important. Dan also has a great sense of humor, he is honest, genuine and has a broad network of contacts.
When it comes to budgeting, Dan provided a cost estimate right at the beginning that is now shaping up to be spot on. This is reassuring as nobody likes unwelcome financial surprises when building.
Dan is a talented designer which comes through in the quality and delivery of his work. My wife Liz is extremely detailed, knows what she wants and is quite the perfectionist.
Liz gives Adan Creative Designs a 10/10, therefore so do I 🙂

After spending a considerable amount of time researching to find the right block of land, we purchased a one acre block that would provide a better lifestyle due to its location and have a pleasing outlook by means of surrounding views.
We then knew we had to source a Building Designer that could design a home by thinking outside the box, maximize the potential of what we had purchased, listen to what we wanted and create a home that, in very simple terms, could exceed our expectations.
Working with Daniel Briffa of Adan Creative Designs was certainly the easiest part of the build. We agreed on a concept after only two meetings. Daniel then made life easy by managing council submissions and all documentation, leaving us to plan the build. Once the build started Daniel supported us all the way through the build.
